Permanent Pictorial Postmark (PMP 640) which was introduced on the 23rd April
1996The Saints chose
Darrel Baldock on the cover of their stamp
Booklet and Stewart
Loewe on their Postcard and maximum card.
Mary Mackillop PSE's were also released with the St Kilda
Permanent Pictorial postmark with players

On the 7th March 2000 the inaugural meeting of
the "Premiership Players Club" was held at the MCG to help raise funds for
charity. One Saint Kilda player was included in the 20 players pictured on the
A4 sheet of 20 P stamps of the millennium issue. He was
Allan Morrow. The stamps were
also displayed on a set of 20 first day covers by Havilah Enterprises.
The 25th May 2000 marked the release of club and individual
2000
Personalised Stamps.
On the 28th March 2001 the second annual meeting of the "Premiership
Players Club" was held at the MCG to help raise funds for charity. One St Kilda
player was included in the 20 players pictured on the A4 sheet of 20 P stamps of
the globe and map issue. He was
Allan Jeans. The stamps were
also displayed on a set of 20 first day covers by Havilah Enterprises.
The 2001 season started on a high note after heavy
recruiting and the luring out of retirement of twice premiership coach Malcolm
Blight. By half way through the year Blight was sacked and the season was over.
30th March marked the release of the
2001
Personalised Stamps.
On the 5th April 2001 Saint Kilda at a grand function
at the Crown Pallidium announced their
Team of the
Century.
On the 27th March 2002 the third annual meeting of the "Premiership
Players Club" was held at the MCG to help raise funds for charity. One Saint
Kilda player was included in the 20 players pictured on the A4 sheet of 20 P
stamps of the sand, sea and sky overlaid by the Southern Cross issue. He was
Barry Breen. The stamps were
also displayed on a set of 20 first day covers by First Class Collectables.
The
2002 Personalised Stamps
were issued on the 15th May 2002.
2002 started slowly and there was little improvement as
the season progressed. They finished 15th but with a young list and early draft
picks they should improve.
The Annual Premiership Players Club P stamp Sheet of 20
players was released on the 26th March 2003. The Saints player featured was
Darrel Baldock.
The
2003 Personalised Stamps
were released in April 2003.
On the 1st August 2003 the St Kilda Football Club announced their initial
St Kilda
Hall of Fame Inductees at the
Palladium Ballroom.
Although they failed to make the 2003 finals the future looks bright for the
young Saints.
Lenny Hayes
and
Robert Harvey
made the All Australian Team.
